井関 春龍 | 書家

1991年、兵庫県三木市に生まれる。
1997年より、地元の「平山書道教室」にて書の手ほどきを受け、幼少の頃より筆と向き合う日々を過ごす。
2009年、京都橘大学文学部日本語日本文学科に進学。在学中に書道パフォーマンスと出会い、伝統的な書の世界に、動きや場の空気を取り込む表現の可能性を見出す。

2013年、三木市役所に入庁。広報業務を通じて言葉と地域社会の結びつきを実感し、「書」を生かした公共空間での表現にも関心を深める。
2014年、より自由な創作活動を志して退職。以降、書道パフォーマンス、題字制作、ロゴデザイン、命名書、空間演出など多岐にわたる筆の仕事に取り組みながら、書のもつ根源的な力と向き合い続けている。

2019年には、三木市旧玉置邸にて初個展「The Beginning」を開催。
2024年には、堀光美術館にて市田山（片寄）知氏との二人展「井関春龍／市田山（片寄）知 二人展 ～書とアートの融合～ 墨は五彩に輝く～」を開催。墨の濃淡や筆致の豊かさに加え、空間全体を含めた作品世界により、現代における「書」の新たな表現領域を切り拓いた。

現在は三木市を拠点に、書の伝統に根ざしながらも、現代に息づく表現としての書を探求している。個展開催やパフォーマンスのほか、学校や地域行事での揮毫、企業や個人からの依頼作品など、筆を通じたさまざまな営みを大切にしている。

Shunryu Iseki | Calligrapher

Born in 1991 in Miki City, Hyogo Prefecture, Shunryu Iseki began studying calligraphy in 1997 at the local Hirayama Calligraphy School. From a young age, he cultivated a deep relationship with the brush, finding in it both discipline and expression.

In 2009, he entered the Department of Japanese Language and Literature at Kyoto Tachibana University. There, he encountered the world of calligraphy performance, discovering new possibilities for integrating movement and atmosphere into the traditionally static art of calligraphy.

In 2013, Iseki began working at Miki City Hall, where he served in the public relations department. This experience deepened his understanding of the relationship between language and community, and inspired him to explore ways to bring calligraphy into public spaces.

In 2014, he left public service to fully pursue his creative path. Since then, his work has spanned calligraphy performances, logotype design, naming commissions, and spatial installations—continually seeking the elemental power of the written character.

In 2019, he held his first solo exhibition, The Beginning, at the historic Tamaki Residence in Miki City. In 2024, he presented a two-person exhibition with artist Chi Katayose (Ichidayama) at the Horimitsu Museum of Art titled Fusion of Calligraphy and Art — Ink Shines in Five Colors, exploring the depth and nuance of ink, brushstroke, and spatial composition.

Currently based in Miki City, Iseki continues to explore calligraphy as a living, contemporary art form rooted in tradition. His work includes solo exhibitions and performances, live calligraphy for schools and community events, and commissioned works for individuals and businesses—each one a gesture of connection through the brush.

井关春龙 | 书法家

1991年出生于日本兵库县三木市。1997年起在本地的“平山书道教室”习书，自幼便与毛笔相伴，度过了与书为伍的岁月。

2009年考入京都橘大学文学部日本语言日本文学科。在校期间接触到书法表演这一形式，体悟到传统书艺中亦可融入身体的律动与现场的氛围，开拓了书法表现的全新可能性。

2013年就职于三木市政府，任职于宣传部门。在推动公共传播工作的过程中，深刻感受到语言与地域社会之间的纽带，也萌生了将书法运用于公共空间表达的想法。

2014年，为追求更自由的创作之路而辞职。此后，专注于书法表演、题字设计、标志设计、命名书、空间装置等多元领域，以笔为器，持续探索书法所蕴含的原初力量。

2019年，在三木市的旧玉置邸举办首次个人展览《The Beginning（始之章）》。
2024年，与艺术家市田山（片寄知）共同于堀光美术馆举办二人展《书与艺术的融合——墨彩五光十色》，通过墨色的层次、笔触的多样，以及对空间的整体运用，拓展了现代书法表现的新境界。

现以三木市为创作据点，在坚守传统书艺的基础上，探索书法作为当代艺术表现的可能性。除了举办展览和表演外，还参与学校、社区活动的现场书写，并承接企业及个人的定制作品，以笔墨为桥，珍视人与人之间的连接。
